Habs hinbekommen

Habe hier syno_smart_info.sh --email nach info das _db gelöscht und dann ging es.

Wenn ich auf die Aufgabe gehe und Ergebnis anzeige, sehe ich die Resultate.
Kommen die nicht in den Ordner ? Oder werden die nicht abgelegt zum schöner anschauen?

Versuche es mal mit einem kürzeren Pfad zb. -> volume1/scripts/Synology_SMART-info-1.4.24

EDIT: natürlich muß das Script dort gespeichert sein.

Habe es zum laufen bekommen habe noch im text was falsch gehabt. _db wurde rausgelöscht dann ging es.

Meine Frage war dann noch, ob ich das irgendwo anschauen kann, ob es abgelegt wird oder ob ich immer auf der Aufgabe auf Aktion/Ergebnis anzeigen muss im Aufgabenplaner?

Wenn Du im Aufgabenplaner nicht eingestellt hast, dass Du nur im Fehlerfalle eine eMail erhalten willst, erhälst Du immer eine eMail mit den Infos. Ansonsten wird eine eMail nur gesendet wenn es SMART Probleme gibt.

Wie oft sollte man den kompletten SMART durchlaufen lassen? Besser alle Platten gleichzeitig laufen lassen oder Platte nach Platte?

Witzig sind die SMART Werte bei SAS Platten. Da kommt ja gar nichts zurück.
SAS drives definitely return a lot less SMART information than SATA drives do.

My syno_smart_info script shows the important parts of a SAS drive's SMART output in a more readable way. The "elements grown in defect list" is equivalent to relocated sector count.

I have quick SMART tests scheduled to run on all drives at once at 7am every day.
What's the benefit of this scheduled test? As far as I understand all disks update their SMART counters if there is any event. And this will be reported by syno_smart_info's next run.

I need to edit the script to correctly sort when there's double digit drive numbers. Well triple digit actually because a HD6500 with 4 expansion units can have 300 drives.

It's strange that 2 of your SATA SAT5220 SSDs are /dev/sas instead of /dev/sata

Yes, the two SAT5220-960G are read/write cache SSDs, and the two SAT5210-480G SSDs are the system disks in RAID 1. But that could also be my fault, since the system is running in HA. There are three IP addresses: 192.168.0.156 - HD6500 active, 192.168.0.157 - cluster address, and 192.168.0.158 - HD6500 passive. I used the cluster address for the readout.

Sorry, my fault. Here the right IPs

HD6500 passive: 192.168.0.159 (I cant connect to it)

The Code above is from the IP 192.168.0.158 (HD6500 active). It is the same result as the 192.168.0.157 (Clusteradress).

Okay. So the System Drives are /dev/sata1 and /dev/sata2

If I can make the script detect if a drive is a system drive I can show them as "System Drive 1" and "System Drive 2" instead of "Drive 1" and "Drive 2".
