Erweiterungseinheit für DS1618+

Hallo Syno-Friends,

hat jemand vielleicht Erfahrungen mit der 1618+ und Erweiterungseinheiten?
Die DX517 ist ja die offiziell unterstützte Einheit. Laufen vielleicht auch die DX510 oder DX513 an der DS1618+?

Was meint ihr wie wahrscheinlich ist es?

I'm not sure, but it looks like the script might work on a DS1618+. I'd love to know if it does work.

After unpacking DSM 7.2.1 pat files for DS1618+ and DS1621+, as far as DX513 support goes, the only differences are:

• DS1621+ has model.dtb which is one of the files my script edits to add DX513 support for the DS1621+.
• DS1618+ does not have model.dtb as only Synology models with newer CPUs use device tree.
• DS1618+ already has DX513 in the updater file.
• DS1621+ does not have the updater file.

I've not been able to find much information on the updater file. But I assume that during a DSM update it updates the kernel's hardware support. If this assumption is correct then the script will enable DX513 for a DS1618+

I can't test it because my Synology NAS that has the updater file officially supports my DX213.

Correction. DS1621+ does have the updater file. But it does not contain DX513.
