If it still gives an error can you run these commands via SSH and let me know what they return:

cat /var/packages/Synospeedtest/var/last_speedtest_stderr.log

cat /var/packages/Synospeedtest/var/api.log | tail -10

Thanks for the update.

I'm using the DS423+.

Unfortunately, the error still occurs after the update.

I'll test your commands via SSH this afternoon when I get home.

Just so you know, I live in Switzerland, if that's relevant to the package.

How cool is this? And the Ookla image is clickable and takes you to the results on the Ookla website.

At the moment the packages shows the image and the text. I don't like the text, but it does show more information.

I just installed it on my DS925+ and am getting the same error. It seems like when I was developing the package on my DS1821+ I created a file, or set permissions on a file or folder to get it working... and this step is missing on a new installation. I'll figure it out, but it's time for dinner here so it'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I know what the problem is:

root@DS925plus:~# cat /var/packages/Synospeedtest/var/last_speedtest_stderr.log

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:

    #1) Respect the privacy of others.
    #2) Think before you type.
    #3) With great power comes great responsibility.

sudo: a terminal is required to read the password; either use the -S option to read from standard input or configure an askpass helper
sudo: a password is required

/var/packages/Synospeedtest/var/api.log contains the same thing (but without line break so less readable).

Now I just have to remember how I solved it on my DS1821+, and add that solution in the package.

At Console i ran the script 'servers.sh' but this doesn't help
Any hints?
