If you mean with professional tools a BGA station, to replace the SoC, then yes you're right, I don't have and I don't have the expertise to operate it.

But anything else in SMD level I can do it and I have some tools including fine tip soldering station and hot air rework station, magnifying glass, tweezers etc.

Since the unit is very old and with a bug from factory in the SoC, it's not worth the time and money to send it to some professional to fix it, it's almost 7 - 8 years old equipment! So I will try whatever is possible to make it work for little more, then it will go for scrap.
