usbshare / externe USB Festplatte offline

Problembeschreibung:
Seit langerzeit mache ich Timebackup & Datensicherung auf eine externe USB Festplatte, die an der DS213+ hinten an einem der USB Ports angeschlossen ist.
Bisher hatte das auch prima funktioniert. Jetzt funktioniert es ab und zu und dann wieder nicht. Aus den Protokollen werde ich auch nicht schlau.
Starte ich die Datensicherung manuel, erfolgt die Meldung: Zugriff auf Datensicherungsziel nicht möglich.

Hab die HDD schon ausgeworfen, wieder angeschlossen, System heruntergefahren, USB POrts getauscht.
Keine Abhilfe

Die USB Festplatte wird auf der Leiste oben im Hauptbildschirm als NORMAL angezeigt.
Im Filemanager ist die Festplatte nicht aufgeführt.

Systemsteuerung/externe Geräte zeigt an:
Herstelle und Produkt ok.
Name: USB Disk 1 Partition 1
Gemeinsamer Ordner: Nicht freigegeben
Benutzte/Gesamtgröße: 0/1862,98 GB (!die ist nicht leer!)
Dateisystem Typ: Nicht unterstützt (!?!?)

Smart Test und Smart Informationen sind nicht anzuklicken. Nur Befehl Formatieren und Entfernen.


Systemsteuerung/gemeinsame Ordner zeigt an:
usbshare wird nicht angezeigt

Also irgendwie scheint es ja ab und zu zu funktionieren und dann mal wieder nicht.

Wer hat eine Idee?

Da Du Time Backup nutzt, gehe ich davon aus, dass die Platte ext4 formatiert ist. Könntest Du bitte einmal die SMART-Werte prüfen oder hier einen Screenshot von ihnen posten? Falls das im DSM-Frontend nicht geht, bitte die Platte einmal an den PC stecken und die Werte mit einem Tool wie CrystalDiskInfo ermitteln.

Ja ist ext4.

Festplatte wird auch unter Win7 nicht angezeigt.
Wie kann ich das reparieren?

Da hast Du vermutlich die Ursache. Die Platte hat Probleme (Lesefehlerrate, Suchfehlerrate und ein schwebener Sektor). Die würde ich austauschen.

Gibt es die Möglichkeit, mein TimeBackup zu retten?
Ist nicht Lebensentscheidend, wäre aber nett.

Du könntest versuchen, die Platte auf eine neue externe Platte zu clonen bzw. beide Platten an die DS zu stecken und die Daten per FileStation zu kopieren.

Aber in der filestation wird sie ja nicht angezeigt, wahrscheinlich aufgrund der schwebende Sektoren.
für chkdisk brauche ich einen Laufwerksbuchstaben und den hat die platte nicht.

Laufwerksbuchstaben unter Windows bekommst Du nicht, weil Windows mit dem Filesystem ext4 von Haus aus nichts anfangen kann. Schau Dich doch einmal im Netz nach Clonetools um - z.B. Clonezilla. Vielleicht bekommst Du es damit hin.

ok. Werd mir eine neue HDD besorgen und probiere das dann.

in dem Fall besorgt man sich eine Linux Live CD von Ubuntu 13.04 64bit,
und startet damit seinen 64bit PC,

die angesteckte USB Sicherungsplatte wird unter Linux sofort erkannt,
anschliessend kopiert man die Daten von der Platte rüber auf eine NTFS PC Platte, als Zwischenspeicher.

man kann sämtliche Daten sofort lesen und darauf zugreifen.
