I have a problen with the reset function
i was thrown out as administrator (not admin account) past a security change and sharpening the account and password rules.
i fount the RESET function and apllied it to my Synology DS214play with almost latest DSM version.
After 4 sec a beep occured and the NAS restarted.
But logging on to the NAS with the account "admin" and empty password nothing more happens then .... "please wait" (or a similar message).
The expected dialogue to enter a new password does NOT occur !
I tried to logon with the DS File app , and there i get the message that admin account was resetted, but still can not access here.
Questions :
how can i logon to my NAS Again ?
Or how can i alter the password for a successful logon ?
optional : why is the password change dialogue not appearing ?
