Servus,

Meist fehlt ein Eintrag in der in der traccar.xml: den Parameter templates.rootPath setzen, von Root (/) aus bis "....accar/templates".
Dann findet es die Templates auch, und das Testmail geht raus (natürlich wenn die Mailparameter sonst stimmen).

hier die Beta Version Traccar 4, bitte sichert Eure Daten vor dem Update!

Ich hatte einige Probleme mit Java, musste das Java von Synololgy nehmen, das Packet von Patters funktionierte bei mir nicht mehr.

sauber!!! Funzt bestens auf ner DS213+ mit aktuellstem DSM und aktuellstem Update. Hab jetzt sogar mein OsmAnd+ aufm Android einbinden können. Sobald eine Aufzeichnung mit dem GPX-Track läuft, wird in best. Intervallen übertragen.

Die Mailing Funktion bekomme ich allerdings nicht zum Laufen. In der 3.17er Version gab es noch ein templates/mail-Verzeichnis, in der 4er-Version gibt es das nicht mehr. Auf traccar.org ist wohl diese Info noch nicht nachgezogen worden. Außer ich habe i.d. falschen Ecke gesucht. Einige Einträge beziehen sich auf jeden Fall mal auf die alte Version.

Vielleicht gibt es den einen oder anderen, bei dem die Mailing-Funktion eingerichtet ist, wenn dieser dann auch noch die zu konfigurierenden Files mit der korrekten Syntax einstellen könnte, würde ich mich freuen. Oder zumindest auf die kniffeligen Einträge hinweisen könnte.

Hallo, auf 214play / DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2 Erstinstallation problemlos durchgelaufen , Einbindung auf iPhone und aktualisieren der Standorte auch kein Problem.

Bei mir gibt's ein templates Verzeichnis, und ich musste den Path dahin manuell setzen (s.o.) - Und danach Stop/Run nicht vergessen.

Today i tried to install traccar on my ds418, very interesting package!. followed the instruction, installed ipkg and the 3 utils. installed mariadb 5 and at last traccar. Traccar runs and i can login and add users etc. But I do not receive hex data in the log file. I used port 55055, checked with the ip port check on traacar. and confirmed the port is open. I treid sending data with the windows client app and a tracking device (in voth i set the port to 55055. Still no hex data in the logfile.

Who can help?

I tried to install the traccar package on my synology DS214+ after installing all the requirements but at the end of the install traccar failed to launch with this message: "Failed to launch package repair"




If anyone have an idea how to launch it properly?

Hi,

Using this since quite a long time, that's not yet happened to me. Therefore I'd (assuming you havn't lots of existing data to preserve) first recommend to uninstall the app and then re-install the version from posting 542 in this thread here, i.e. the last Traccar-for-Synology version available. If that won't help, you need to check the pre-requisite installs from IPKG, Maria-DB and a recent Java. If that isn't still working, maybe 1sthandy has further ideas?

Hi,

If you are doing this (installing textutils) "by hand", I can't help. - I install all my IPKG stuff with EasyBootstrapInstaller (EBI) from cphub.net. Be aware there has been a new version issued end-of September.

Sorry to hear that. Assuming it has nothing to do with enabling unsigned packages in the settings of the package centre, I'm at the end of what I can advise you. Maybe someone else takes over...

Hi, sorry dass ich nicht so hinterher bin...
Ich bin mittlerweile auf Docker umgestiegen, da geht das Update schneller.
Gerne baue ich noch ein Packet. Ich setz mich am WE Ran.
