I have a DS120j here and mounted a "fresh" (old, but cleaned up) drive in it. It is a WD Red Team "WD40EFRX Naswear 3.0". Unfortunately when I try to access the NAS via the webinterface, I get a message, that the station is not able to detect the drive. I already tried to connect the drive to a PC and the drive comes up there with no issue. I can mount it, write files to it, everything without issues. I even did a full offline SMART test with the smartctl cli tool from smartmontools package. No Errors but still the NAS is not working with this drive. Is there an issue with this specific drive because if I use a different drive (a 120GB SSD I've got laying around) it works just fine with it. Only the combination with the WD drive is not working. Any hints on how to solve this issue are highly appreciated.
