Volume verschwunden

Hallo Zusammen

Gestern am Abend hat mein NAS normal heruntergefahren ist au 23:30 so programmiert. Um 8:00 Uhr hat es dann wieder gestartet. Nun habe ich gerade darauf zugegriffen und das Volume war weg. Das NAS ist sammt Festplatten 2 Tage alt... LOG ist unauffällig, keine Fehler zumindest die Systemprotokolle.

Jemand eine Idee? braucht ihr noch Infos? Was kann ich tun?

Um was für eine DS handelt es sich denn und wie viele Festplatten sind verbaut?
Wie sind diese Festplatten eingebunden Basic, SHR, Raid?
Was sagt denn der Speichermanager, und gibt es Auffälligkeiten in den Smart-Werten?

Ich habe ein neues DS213+, neuste Firmware und 2 WD RED Platten à 2TB verbaut. (WS20EFRX-68AX9N0)
Habe gestern ein RAID 0 eingerichtet. Und angefangen Daten raufzukopieren.
Status der Festplatten sind Initalisiert.
Die Infos zu den Festplatten habe ich angehängt. Soll ich mal ein SMART test durchführen?

Also die angefügten Smart-Werte sind nicht auffällig.

Da hast Du im DSM die Option "Nach Stromausfall automatisch starten" aktiviert.

Welche Meldung steht denn im Speichermanger unter HDD-Verwaltung?
Da es hier im Forum mehrere Beiträge zu Problemen mit der WD RED, allerdings der 3TB Version, gibt, würde ich die Festplatten einmal ausbauen und an einem PC testen.
 
Bzw. wären eher noch die Zeilen im Log interessant, die zeitlich vor dieser Meldung liegen.
Gab es evtl. einen Stromausfall?
 
Ah ok, ja an die Einstellung mag ich mich errinnern...

Nachtrag: Wenn du die DS erst gerade eingerichtet hast, dann würde ich doch eher nochmal von vorne anfangen. Datenrettung macht da doch wenig Sinn, oder?

Puh, wirklich schwierig. Um das extern auslesen zu können müsste man ja mindestens mal beide Platten an ein Linux hängen und dann noch wissen, wie man sie richtig einhängt.
Besser wie in meinem letzten Post: nochmal von vorne anfangen?!
 
Ich hatte schon noch das eine oder andere drauf was ich gerne wiederhaben wollte :D habe den log nachgereicht
 
Das einzig Auffällige aus dem Log ist, das er das Volumen 2 nicht erstellen konnte.

Ich schließe mich Puppetmaster an, fang noch einmal von Vorne an. Dürfte weitaus einfacher und schneller sein, als das Auslesen der Festplatten.

Darf ich Fragen weshalb Du RAID0 verwendest und nicht 2 Basic?

Da war doch von Anfang an was im Argen.
RAID0 ist insofern gefährlich, als dass nur eine Platte einen Defekt haben mußt und du siehst deine Daten evtl. nie wieder.
Ein Backup ist ja sowieso Pflicht, ob jetzt RAID0, 1, 5, etc.

Fang von vorne an und sei froh, dass es dich so früh erwischt hat! :)

Über das Risiko bin ich bereits aufgeklärt. Das Backup wollte ich sowieso auf eine Externe Festplatte erledigen, da nur ein Teil Kritische Daten drauf sein sollten. Das Backup wollte ich heute Abend einrichten. Konnte ja nicht wissen das die Synology Dinger schon nach dem 2. Tag aussteigen :D

Wie gesagt: beide Platten an einer Linuxkiste zu einem RAID0 zusammenschalten, geht vermutlich auch direkt an der DS, Details überlasse ich da aber mal den echten Profis. :)
Aber nach der Fehlermeldung deines Logs bezweifle ich wirklich, dass du da Erfolg haben wirst.
 
Tips habe ich leider keine für Dich da ich, Gott sei Dank, noch nicht in der Situation war. Soweit ich weiß brauchst Du eine Linux CD damit Du die Daten auslesen kannst. Aber bemühe einmal die Suchfunktion hier im Forum.

Ich habe auch nichts von RAID 2 Basic geschrieben. Basic ist ein einfaches Volumen ohne RAID. Wenn Du beide Festplatten als Basic konfigurierst hast Du ebenfalls den gesamten Speicherplatz zur Verfügung, nur eben auf zwei statt auf einem Volumen.
Ein ganz großer Vorteil von Basic: geht eine Festplatte hops sind nur die Daten von dieser Festplatte "verloren". Bei einem RAID0 reicht der Ausfall einer Festplatte und alle Daten sind "verloren" (Aber das hast Du ja gerade schon festgestellt ;)).
Weiterer Vorteil von Basic Volumen, im Fehlerfall lassen sie sich einfacher auslesen als Platten aus einem RAID-Verbund.

Noch ein weiterer Tip, bevor Du wieder Daten auf die DS spielst, beschäftige Dich zu erst einmal mit den einzelnen Funktionen und spiele ein wenig herum.
