SMART Support aktivieren

Hallo,

ich hoffe, ich habe für mein Thema das richtige Forum erwischt. Ich habe Probleme, SMART zu aktivieren. Hier einige Aufrufe mit den entsprechenden Meldungen von smartctl.

Es handelt sich um eine DS212j mit der aktuellen DSM 5.0-4482.

Ich habe auch das smartctl per ipkg installiert, aber hier bekomme ich eine Segmentation fault. Auch der Parameter -d, der in einem anderen Thread empfohlen wurde, konnte keine Abhilfe schaffen.

Kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben? Gerne auch wie ich weiter dem Fehler auf die Spur kommen kann.

Ich schieb das mal nach oben, habe das gleiche Problem

smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sda

sdb:

smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sdb

Feintuning:
Bei mir läuft im Aufgabenplaner ein Script, welches einmal im Monat die Smartdaten von sda und sdb jeweils in eine Textdatei (Datum im Dateinamen) schreibt.

smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sda > /volume1/synology/hdd/sda_`date +%Y%m%d`.txt
smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sdb > /volume1/synology/hdd/sdb_`date +%Y%m%d`.txt

Hier muss nur der Pfad (/volume1/synology/hdd/) nach den eigenen Gegebenheiten angepasst werden.
