DS918+: HDD-LED (orange) zurücksetzen (grün) via CLI? (Status überall sonst normal)

Hallo zusammen!

Nach dem Tausch einer von 4 HDDs (SHR/RAID6) an einer DS918+ und problemlosem Neuaufbau des RAIDs werden im DSM (7.2.2) alle 4 Laufwerke "in Ordnung" angezeigt. SMART-Tests (erweitert) zeigen keine Probleme, und auch eine anschließende Datenbereinigung wurde problemlos abgeschlossen.

Aber die LED dieses einen Laufwerks am DS-Gehäuse leuchtet selbst nach Neustart der DS918+ immer noch orange statt grün. Alle anderen LEDs (Status und 3 weitere Laufwerke) leuchten grün, und die Power-LED leuchtet blau.

Welchen Grund kann es geben, dass der LED-Status immer noch orange ist? Falls das nur kosmetischer Natur ist: Gibt es eine CLI-Lösung, die LED auf Grün zurückzusetzen?

Die Benachrichtigungen habe ich eben geleert, aber muss ich tatsächlich alle Protokolle aus dem Protokoll-Center löschen? Ich wüsste nicht, ob/wie ich einzelne Einträge daraus entfernen kann, z.B. diese:

Das Script macht aber m.W. auch nichts anderes als das Laufwerk-Log im Protokoll-Center löschen.

Ok, das Script von @DaveR löscht wohl selektiver. Im Protokoll-Center kann man nur das komplette Laufwerke-Log löschen, aber was soll's.



Der DSM macht den Laufwerkszustand auch am Vorhandensein von Warnungen oder Fehlern in diesem Log fest. Deshalb hilft das Löschen.

Genau! Selbst wenn ich im DSM -> Protokoll-Center exakt nach diesen Einträgen suche (also lokal, Laufwerke, Suchbegriff "kritisch" und Level "Fehler") und nur diese Zeile sehe: Bei Klick auf "Löschen" kommt die Abfrage "Alle Protokolle werden gelöscht. Möchten Sie wirklich fortfahren?" Ich verstehe das so, dass dann wirklich alle Einträge gelöscht werden, also nicht nur eine Zeile, die gerade aufgrund der Filterung sichtbar ist. Oder irre ich mich? Ich will es nicht testen, denn im schlechten Fall sind dann alle Ereignisse komplett weg.

Vielleicht bastle ich mir schlicht ein stark vereinfachtes Skript, das nur die wesentlichen Zeilen mit `sqlite` enthält. Vorher wäre ein Backup von `/var/log/synolog/.SYNODISKDB` sinnvoll.

Klar! Und ich habe wieder etwas dazugelernt: Nachdem ich die Kategorie "Laufwerke" und das Level "Fehler" gewählt und gelöscht habe, wurden alle Einträge aus der Kategorie "Laufwerke" gelöscht, also auch Einträge mit Level "Info", aber Einträge aus anderen Kategorien ("Allgemein", "Verbindung" etc.) wurden nicht gelöscht. Somit scheint sich das Löschen im Protokoll-Center auf Kategorien zu beziehen (so zumindest meine Interpretation). Sobald ich diese DS neu starten kann, werde ich sehen, ob dann diese eine HDD-LED wieder grün statt orange leuchtet, und melde mich dann hier nochmal dazu.

PS: Diskstation neu gestartet. Leider leuchtet die eine HDD-LED immer noch orange.

Poste bitte mal die SMART-Werte aller verbauten Datenträger hier.

Es betrifft 2 Laufwerke (1+3, d.h. /dev/sda und /dev/sdc, beides Seagate HDDs).


Die anderen beiden Laufwerke (2+4, d.h. /dev/sdb und /dev/sdd sind Toshiba Enterprise HDDs, bei denen smartctl angibt, sie seien nicht S.M.A.R.T. kompatibel. Das kann ich nicht so ganz glauben, aber evtl. ist deren FW zu alt? Egal, denn die zeigen keine Probleme.

So beschränke ich mich auf die beiden Seagate HDDs, zu denen die Gehäuse-LEDs orange (statt grün) leuchten, obwohl wiederholte erweiterte S.M.A.R.T. Tests keine Hinweise auf Probleme gezeigt haben - zumindest nicht im DSM.

Ich habe die Outputs von smartctl7 aus der Konsole hier unten gepostet und auch miteinander verglichen. Obwohl beide zusammen eingesetzt wurden (eine ist 9217 h, die andere 9218 h powered on), fällt die 1. Segate HDD mit 264 Lifetime Power-on Resets mehr auf als die 2. Seagate HDD mit nur 59 Lifetime Power-on Resets. Evtl. ein Hinweis auf Undervoltage o.ä., was zu vermehrten Aus-/An-Zyklen der 1. HDD geführt hat? Da ich kein Experte bin, ist das reine Spekulation und erklärt ja auch nicht wirklich, warum die LEDs immer noch orange leuchten. Das NAS läuft immer 7/24.
