Drupal auf DS411j mega langsam, was tun?

Nabend,

ich hab auf dem Webserver Drupal eingerichtet, aber das ist so mega langsam, dass ein ordentliches Arbeiten damit fast unmöglich ist.
Bringt FastCGI etwas? Ich habs eh in IPKG nicht gefunden. Hat jemand ne Idee oder woran das liegen tut?

Die Auslastung auf der DS is ok, daran liegt es nicht.

Ich kenne Drupal nicht, aber ich wette, der braucht mehr als die 128Mb RAM die die 411j hat. Ich vermute, er lagert vorlaufend RAM als Swap-Datei aus und so werden alle Anfragen sehr lagsam, da Speicherblöcke von der Festplatte zurückgeholt werden und andere wieder geswapt werden usw.

Du kannst meine Vermutung überprüfen in dem du auf die Shell gehst und den Befehl "top" dann kannst ablesen, wieviel du an RAM (Memory) belegt hast und was du frei hast. Etwas
konfortabler siehst du es mit dem htop (installierbar via ipkg).

Jo ich denke bei mir läuft einiges sinnfreiees Zeug im Hintergrund. tausende Apache Server und Mailstaition obwohl das deaktiviert sein sollte.
Liegt et nun daran?

und wie soll denn die Seite laufen, wenn der Apache nicht laufen sollte?? Oder meintest du nur die Mailstation sollte deaktiviert sein?
