    Even when logged into the DSM UI as an admin the recycle bin in home is locked. But the recycle bin in homes is unlocked.

    I'm always amazed at how popular the syno_hdd_db script is. In 3 years it has had: Over 1 million views. 5,100 stars 333 forks. Another 5,000 stars and it would make it into GitHub's top 100 most starred shell code repositories.

    It's per port, so when you select Hyper Backup Vault that includes Hyper Backup. Maybe you could setup your router to forward port 6281 to LAN 2 for your friend's backups. And use LAN 1 for everything else.
