    Apple have moved on to SMB. If you don't have an old Mac that can't use SMB then you should disable Bonjour.

    DSM 8 will be worse. It will probably include the '25 plus series' drive restrictions for existing xs+ and business models, and maybe even for all new value series models.

    DSM 8 is coming soon ( I am not allowed to say more than that), so there probably won't a DSM 7.3. There should be a DSM 7.2.3 but that may only be for models that can use DSM 7.2 but can't use DSM 8.

    My DS1812+ got DSM updates for 13 years (but it never got DSM 7). The last security update was 2 months after the official End of Extended Life Phase.
