Seafile
Does anyone have Seafile running on a Synology (or Docker)? I like Synology Drive except the fact I can't change the default port (6690) is a showstopper for me. I've tried to run Nextcloud on my Syno (DS415+) but it was pretty slow so I want to give Seafile a try. Any one got a tutorial for this? -

Virtual DSM Manager - Neue Version
I have installed the package manually on my DS415+ Everything went well, created a Win10x64 test VM but I cannot connect to it. When I press connect, a pop up opens but does not connect to the VM. I have VirtualBox running on my DS415+ Everything is running fine though I have one question. When I shutdown or reboot my Synology the (Windows Server 2012r2) virtual machine is not shutdown properly. Is there a way to shut the VM down properly when rebooting or shutting down the Synology? At... -

My German is pretty bad... But I think I understand your question. You need an older version of DSM than the one you want to install. So for me I had DSM 6.0.1-7393 installed on my DS415+ I ssh'ed into my Synology and changed the VERSION file into a VERSION file from DSM 5.2-5644. This tricks... -

I have downgraded my DS415+ to DSM 6.0-7321-u7. Re-installed VirtualBox, added my Virtual Machine and everything is working again! -

Since the latest DSM update (DSM 6.0.1-7393) VirtualBox stopped working. I have a DS415+ running VirtualBox 5.0.20-106931-1. Since I upgraded I get the message: My VM's do not start either. I already tried removing VirtualBox and re-installed it without luck. -

I have the same problem. Upgraded DSM 6.0 and when logging in to VirtualBox I get the error: "Could not connect to host (http://127.0.0.1:18083/)" -

I couldn't wait. :cool: So I tried it. Removed VirtualBox 5.0.8 and upgraded to 5.2-5644 update 3. After that installed VirtualBox 5.0.14 and re-attached my (Server 2012 R2) virtual machine. I have shutdown and reboot my Synology with success again!! No more hanging shutdowns. Many thanks for... -

I downgraded my Synology to DSM 5.2 - 5592 update 4 because my DS415+ would not shutdown/reboot properly when VirtualBox was installed. After downgrading to 5592 the problem was gone. Can someone confirm if this shutdown/reboot problem is gone on the DS415+ with DSM 5.2 5644 update 3 and... -

I have tried 5.0.6, 5.0.8 and 5.0.10 on my DS415+ with DSM 5.2 - 5644 update 2. All versions ran stable but the problem I had was that I could not shutdown or reboot my Synology properly. That's no problem for me. But thanks for the heads up! I have the same setup as you. Using RDP through VB Display Server and also regular RDP. To be honest I never used the web console. :p
